NOTE: A subject search is based on Library of Congress (LC) Subject Headings. If you do not know the LC Subject heading, the system will attempt to direct you to the correct subject heading.

• Go to opac.wopl.org click on "Search the Catalog".
• Click on "Subject Search" or use the dropdown box to select Subject.
• Enter your subject word. (example: cookery)
• Click on "Submit Search" or press Enter on the keyboard.
• Scroll through the results to find the entry you want and click on it.
• Click on the item title for Location, Call # and Status. The Location and Call # will tell you where you can find the item in the Library. The Status shows you whether it is available on the shelf or is checked out to someone.
