Keyword enables you to look for a word anywhere in the library?s record of an item. This is especially useful if you?re not sure of the title, but know a word it contains. For example, if you don?t remember the title City of Bones you can simply use bones and the catalog will retrieve a list of books with this word in the title, subject or author field. Multiple words are searched as a single phrase, unless combined using one of the following: AND, OR, AND NOT.

• From opac.wopl.org or www.wopl.org click on Search the Catalog.
• Click on Keyword Search.
• Enter the terms. (example: civil war)
• Click on Search or press Enter.
• Click on the Title that you would like to see.
• Check the list for the book?s Location, Call # and Status. The Location and Call # will tell you where you can find the book. The Status shows you whether it is available on the shelf or out in circulation.
